Battle rules
Ok, so the battle system is pretty much like FFT(Final fantasy tactics). Those who haven't or never played it, read everything on this post.
The first thing you must do is to figure out where each
character should start off. Like, one character is on front and the other is on the right, etc. The battle starts, the character from one of the sides that has the most speed goes first. Then the character with the second highest speed, then the third highest, etc. Furthermore, if two units have the same speed, and one is a female character, the female character goes first (ladies first!). If there is no gender difference, the character who is controlled by the player who's character went first goes first. When you control a charcter you can do one of the following:
*Move- The movement of the character depends on the status.Note: When you move, you can then do an action, but you can't move again until the next turn.
*Action- Action is when you can do one of these followings:Note: When you do an action, you can move but you can't do another action until the next turn
Fight- To attack a character with an
equipped weapon or bare fists.
*Magic(There are many different types of
magic but I won't say it all)- To use magic*If
you are a Mage type character* You can
attack/heal more than one
character if they are close to each other. + formation, in other words. the square targeted, and all adjacent squares.
*Skill- To use a technique, not like magic* A
non-mage type character only*
Item- To use a item in your arsenal.
*wait- To stay where you are and end your
turn
When a charcter attacks, they must attack when another character is on your attack range.A character thats a mage can do a long distance attack with magic.Same goes with a character with a bow except the attack range depends on the bow their using.
The only way to win a battle is to defeat all of your opponents or petrify all of them. And I think thats it. If someone thinks of any other rules, just post it here.
